In this interactive session, filmmaker Devanshu Singh and National Award-winning film editor, Charu Shree Roy (‘Chhichhore’, ‘Sui-Dhaaga’, ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, ‘Killa’, ‘Chintu Ka Birthday’) discuss the role and the responsibilities of an editor in the filmmaking process. They will illustrate various approaches of storytelling using clips from ‘Game of Thrones’ and a few movies. Students will also get to ask Charu about the life and the profession of a film editor – the often invisible but one of the most important artists in the craft of screen stories.
